  6. PiXCL Tools is a 32 bit interpreted graphics/imaging/multimedia 
  7. and system utility language that anyone can learn to use. PiXCL 
  8. can be used to create simple to moderately complex programs such
  9. as image display, system utilities, training courses, presentations 
  10. or marketting diskettes with dialog boxes, image display, interactive 
  11. graphics, WAV file play and sound card control. Comprehensive file 
  12. and directory handling, string functions, integer math, INI file 
  13. and registry access and a full range of direct GDI screen draw 
  14. functions are all in included in PiXCL.

  25. What you have is the Shareware PiXCL Tools Windows 95 and NT 
  26. common version, with the PiXCL 4.01 interpreter, PXL_make 
  27. Runtime EXE builder, sample .PXL code files and other PiXCL 
  28. executable utilities.

  30. Registration costs us$48 by VISA or Mastercard.

  34. The Shareware version of PiXCL Tools can be freely distributed, so long as all files in the set are included.

  41.     ++++++++++++ VERY IMPORTANT ++++++++++++
  42. When running under Windows NT 3.51, PiXCL will automatically load 
  43. ctl3d32.dll. While this is not used under Windows 95 because the
  44. 3D look is built in, because PiXCL Tools has to support Win 95, 
  45. NT 3.51 and NT 4.0, the correct copy of ctl3d32.dll has to be copied
  46. to the Windows system directory. We expect that most users will be
  47. running Windows 95, so the version that is processed by the Installer
  48. is the the Win 95 version of ctl3d32.dll.   If you need the NT 3.51 
  49. version, it is copied into your installation directory as ctl3d32.ntd. 
  50. This should be copied to your NT system directory as ctl3d32.dll.

  52. NOTE: the Win 95 version of this DLL will not function in an NT 3.51 
  53. system, and the NT 3.51 version will not function in a Win 95 system.
